Why Hockey is a Sport For Just The Tough Man and Woman?

You probably watched the movie series by Walt Disney "The Mighty Ducks”. It’s about a group of kids who were undersized playing hockey against big kids. Unfortunately, to play ice hockey don't just need skills but also you need to have a body that is built like a rock to overcome the bumps, tackles and even the risk of possible injuries.

A fast paced-action packed sport that is only for tough men and women. It’s so tough that even fights inside the ice hockey game are tolerated.

How then we can have a rock built body?

It’s by having that perfect workout regimen. There are no short cuts in getting a body built like a rock. A good approach to this is by combining a traditional workout to an explosive workout.

To add some spice to your bland routine, try some more explosive training methods that will increase your power while giving you a surprisingly good cardio workout. Medicine balls are a good tool for an explosive workout.

Another thing to consider is to make sure you train your core to move. By training your core to move, you increase the strength of your low back stabilizers and improve your dynamic power.

Dr. Chad Moreau who was a former strength and conditioning coach of the NHL designed a workout regimen which was designed for an NHL Player.

You don’t need to be an NHL Player to have a body built like a rock. If you want to know more about this workout regimen you can check this out.
